Dr. Sam Mayhugh is an author and clinical psychologist with a distinguished career in psychological services and healthcare administration. He holds a Ph.D. in psychological services and has completed credential programs at both Harvard University and the University of Oxford. His clinical insights are grounded in an elite level of expertise, having practiced in outpatient and hospital settings and served as a special contractor for the Department of Homeland Security. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Sam has made significant contributions to the film industry as an executive producer, notably on the feature film Of Things Past. He is also the author of Harold’s Story: A Journey of Uncommon Healing, a factual account documenting a true story of radical transformation. His commitment to sharing this message of "uncommon healing" extends beyond the page, as he has long sought to bring Harold’s journey to the screen to provide a roadmap for others struggling with mental health and the belief that their circumstances are permanent. Throughout his career, he has also operated behavioral health companies, continuing his mission to prove that no spirit is ever truly beyond repair.

D. Paul Thomas is a veteran actor, director, and playwright with a career spanning nearly fifty years in New York City and Los Angeles. He currently serves as the screenwriter for the feature film Mr. Unknown, having previously collaborated with Dr. Sam Mayhugh on the book Harold’s Story—A Journey of Uncommon Healing. The former Artistic Director of the historic Lamb’s Theatre in New York, Thomas has directed over twenty productions, including feature film Of Things Past, and earned a Drama-Logue Award for Best Direction. His extensive acting credits include appearances at the Kennedy Center and the Pasadena Playhouse, as well as roles in notable television series such as General Hospital and L.A. Law. An accomplished writer beyond the screen, his plays have been recognized by the London Times and The Hollywood Reporter, and he continues to contribute as an essayist and narrator for the History Channel.

Nora Betancourt Co-founder and Executive Project Director of TGA Productions, where she helps shape bold narrative projects rooted in complex human experiences. As Executive Producer of the feature film Of Things Past, she brings a dramatic, globally minded approach to storytelling—bridging creative vision, artist collaboration, and strategic marketing to help independent cinema find its audience.

Amanuel Zarzowski is an internationally recognized composer with over twenty years of experience in film and television, specializing in evocative scores that blend classical instrumentation with contemporary electronic elements. Educated in music composition and computer music in Poland and Germany, he further refined his craft as a pupil of Maestro Elliott Carter. Zarzowski has built a diverse portfolio that includes work for major studios like Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures, as well as independent projects and commissions for prestigious organizations like the Budapest Academy and the Hispanic Theatre of San Diego. Notably, he is the composer for the feature film Mr. Unknown, continuing a successful creative partnership with Dr. Sam Mayhugh and D. Paul Thomas following their work together on the film Of Things Past. Since 2015, he has also served as the Artistic Director and Composer in Residence for the non-profit organization STEIN 2.0.
